Founded in 1257, Krakow maintained its extraordinary concept of buildings with the biggest medieval Main Marketplace in Europe. The Old City has been included in The UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Krakow has a unique treasury of works of art, monumental buildings and historic monuments. We have 25% of all museums and about 50% of all collections in Poland including the marvelous Wawel Castle with an extraordinary collection of Arrases, The Czartoryski Museum with a Leonardo Da Vinci masterpiece "Lady with the Ermine", our Zoological Museum with a 30 thousand year old rhinoceros skeleton.

To make the city life more attractive each year in Krakow there are many festivals, such as Krakow's International Movie Festival, Jewish Cultural Festival, International Festival of Old Music, Sailors Song Festival "Shanties", "Music In Old Krakow" and meetings with jazz music or church music.

The atmosphere in Krakow's pubs, cafes, restaurants is unusual, you can not only eat some tasty food there but also rest in beautiful interiors, many of them are located in mysterious basements that have their own climate which you won't find anywhere in the world.

It is possible to practice almost every kind of sport in Krakow, from tennis and horse riding up to paintball and diving. You also have a chance to paraglide or do bungee jumps. Each year, three times Olympic Champion Robert Korzeniowski, organizes a competition in Walking, around the Main Marketplace.

Krakow, for many years was a center of science.
The oldest Polish university - Jagiellonian University founded in 1364 by Kazimierz Wielki is one of the 17 colleges in Krakow and one of the best in the country. Many famous Poles studied here: Mikołaj Kopernik, Jan Kochanowski, John Paul II. There are almost 160 000 students and 10 000 scientists in Krakow.

We invite you to visit Krakow, the city which takes care of tourists, is ecological, safe and offers many attractions. We invite you to find out what Krakow has to offer and to participate in many different shows.
